SAT II Physics

Should I take the SAT II Physics in June?
I’m currently in a physics class with a NY state regents test in June. Does anyone know how the NYS’ physics curriculum compares to the topics covered in the SAT II?
I’ve heard that the physics SATII curve is generous. Would you recommend a person who is doing well, but not great, to take this SAT? Or should I take some other SAT like US history?
Thanks for the advice.

Yes! Take it. I studied a week or so before the exam from a prep book and got 800. And my HS honors physics course was not that amazing.

I took the basic Regents physics course before taking the SAT II. There’s some more stuff that the Regents doesn’t cover, but I felt well prepared and got a 780.
