For those who did the SAT II Physics in June or earlier this year, how did you do? What would be considered as a good SAT II Physics score for the Ivies?

Generally 750+ is considered good for Ivies. The Physics test has a generous curve so you may want to aim a little higher than that.

It does have a generous curve. I had taken Pre-AP Physics which briefly covers mechanics and E&M sophomore year and just finished AP Physics C Mechanics. I managed to pull out an 800 on the May SAT with no prep and no in depth E&M class. It’s not as large of a curve as the US and World tests, but it’s up there.

I got a 790 on it and i think i’ve heard somewhere that anything from 750+ is considered good and because of the curve there is very little difference once you are in that range.
Also all the physics i had taken was one semester of honors.
