<p>hi, i’m really interested in applying early decision to northwestern, but i don’t have any SAT II scores to send in because i wasn’t planning on taking them until later. (i didn’t know that i would be this interested in applying early decision) i plan on applying into either the weinberg college of arts and sciences or the school of communications. will my lack of SAT II scores affect my chances of admission? </p>

<p>also, i thought 2 recommendations were required. (1 being a teacher) but i’ve also heard that actually only 1 recommendation letter is needed. so which is it? and does it matter who the teacher is? like, does he or she have to be a core subject teacher?</p>

<p>i sent in one extra rec, so id go with 2…just have a teacher or whoever, somebody that knows you very well, they dont have to be some amazing teacher teaching some honors class. i didnt even send in sat II scores becasue they arent required…if you really want, you could let the admissions staff know you will be taking them soon and can forward your score to them. i gave them a teachers rec in the middle of november and it was fine.</p>
