SAT II, second language

Selective schools require 3 SAT 2 Subject tests, I am planning to take US History, latin or math and Italian. I am not sure if I can do it, because I live in Italy since I was 7 years old, but I am not Italian. The level of the test is ridiculous for Italian speakers. Would colleges accept it?

Incorrect. No college that requires SAT subject tests requires more than two. Only two colleges, Georgetown and Johns Hopkins, which recommend but do not require SAT subject tests, recommend submitting three. Colleges accept SAT language tests as one of the required tests even if the applicant is a speaker of the language but do not assume they will be overly impressed with a high score in that situation. Moreover, make sure you check the college’s test requirements particularly if you are intending to apply for science or engineering because often a math and science is required for those majors.

There are some colleges that request and use a foreign language subject test for placement purposes after you are admitted (e.g., Vanderbilt) but you need to check particular colleges on that including whether they require the listening section for that purpose which the Italian test does not have.
