SAT II US History test with Honors US History Only

<p>How hard is the SAT US History test? My daughhter is currently taking Honors US History in the 9th grade. She’s getting A’s in each grading period. In our district, freshman are allow to take the AP History class (in certain schools) but she felt she wasn’t ready for an AP class yet. In 10th grade she’ll take AP Government NSL, and 11th grade AP World History.</p>

<p>Has anyone taken the AP SAT US History test with an Honors level class instead of the AP class? She would have about two weeks to prepare for the SAT II exam between the end of her class and the exam on June 22. She has an excellent teacher and I think it would be easier for her to get a higher grade on US History than World History. We have a copy of the Direct Hits US History in a Flash and AMSCO. Any thoughts on the best way to prepare. </p>

<p>We are considering the US History test now because she’s not a science kid. She wouldn’t have any interest in doing the chemistry, biology, or physics exams. She’ll take the Math II exam in 11th grade.</p>

<p>She’s only in 9th grade…let her study and prepare more over the summer. Because she hasn’t taken the AP class, she won’t fully understand the rigor of the ?s. If you don’t let kids chill out, they will burn out. </p>
