are sat II 's math n writing similar to wuts on the sat’s? would u recommend studying for them in order to prep for the sat’s?

Eh… yes, and no. They are written in the same style and require you to think a little bit more, but it’s more advanced than the stuff you’ll see on the SAT’s. You should study for Math II, and then study the math for the SAT as part of your studying for the SAT as a whole.

There is not SAT II writing since it’s basically incorporated into the SAT I now. If you mean SAT II literature, then no it’s not like the SAT I writing section.

The math SAT II’s are not similar to the SAT I. The former test knowledge and familiarity up to algebra II or trigonometry; the latter tests reasoning on very basic mathematical concepts. Preparing for one will not prepare you for the other.

Don’t take Math Level 1 if you’re gong to reach precalculus by senior year. Level 1 isn’t nearly as respected as Level 2, and its curve is terrible.

i ALWAYS get higher score in SAT2 maths level2 than in SAT1 maths!! i dunno why…

(1) The Math 2 curve is much more lenient
(2) Math 2 seems to test familiarity with the material; since the material on Math 1 is more basic, it’s also much trickier
