does a 670 look bad on bio and should i retake

Hmm… are your other scores good enough? If they are then I would say dont retake.

Well, while getting your score above a 700 will help, you are getting really close to the application deadline and I believe that your time will be better spent working on your essays (which are by far the more critical aspect of your application).

If you believe it will take minimal effort to bring your score above a 700, go for it; however, there are more important things you could be working on.

What is it about that 700? Its bold strokes? Its strong, dashing stance? Who can say? But yeah, essays trump numbers, for sure. Grades, too. Although, I guess those are numbers…

There is a negligible difference between a 670 and a 700, but if you can get, say, a 750, that’s pretty nice. Like I said, it’s one of those things that isn’t critical at this point. Work on those essays!

the thing is i am done with everything…including the essays
but isnt december the last date to test for MIT b/c i want to retake in january

here are my other scores

ACT 35/36
SAT 2390/2400
SAT math2 800
SAT US HIstory 740

Psh, I say you’re fine. If you really think you had a bad day, or you think you can improve a pretty big amount (like Olo was saying above), then yeah, go ahead and retake it. If not, then I’d work on my other apps! But MIT does take January test dates, so that part would be fine.

really?! i thought it said december was the last date?

they take january test scores on a case by case basis.
