I got a 790 on the chemistry SAT subject test. Is this score considered “good” when compared with all of the people applying to Harvard? It seems to be just an average - below average score when compared to the large number of people with perfect scores who apply

Hahaha, what? Sorry.

Why would a 790 be below average? Yeah, a good number of people apply to Harvard with 800s on the Chem SAT II- hey, I was one of them. But do you think the difference between an 800 and a 790 is even slightly relevant to the admissions committee?

Nothing’s going to get you in on its own, but of course that’s a good score.
