SAT IIs - Disadvantage without?

<p>When I visited Vanderbilt in May I was told that SAT IIs are not required and that applicants who do not submit SAT II scores will not be at a disadvantage. But today on the website it says that they are recommended. I already submitted my SAT scores (no IIs) and I just want to know if I will be at a disadvantage if I don’t submit IIs (I’m taking them in October).</p>

<p>“they can only help you” but i would guess a huge majority submit them as most of the schools that share vandy applicants require them</p>
