SAT II's for internationals?

Does the “3-SAT II” requirement apply to international students if applying early? Thanks

The 3 SAT II Subject Test criterion is a strong recommendation, not a requirement. However, for the purposes of the Early Action cycle, that recommendation is much more flexible, due to the compressed timeframe of the cycle. So while it would be best to have at least a few SAT II Subject Tests, the admissions committee will give full consideration to applications lacking them, and greater leniency is typically shown to international applicants, for whom it may be more difficult to schedule the tests.

In fact, the whole reason the SATII is a reccomendation and not a requirement is because of internationals. If it’s too hard to take SATII’s, include a note with your application. They’ll understand very easily.

I have taken 2 - US Hist and Math IIC - and I just don’t have time to take 1-2 more. I’d have liked to take World History or Chem, but my the timing won’t allow for it. Thanks for your assurances. I feel better about this “inadequacy” now.
