Ok… I know that ND doesnt require SAT II’s but I’ve heard that it is like an unwritten rule to take them…
I am awful at standard testing…and I’d really like to stay away from them

I have already looked at all of the colleges I am considering and none of them require SAT IIs…but my GC strongly recommends them…

Im stuck between a rock and a hard place… I should take them…but I have a feeling that If I take them I will do poorly and then that would be bad…

I know I talked about this a few threads ago…but I have a different question

Basically do the colleges look down aupon someone who didnt take them…Even tho they dont require them…will they think lesser of the applicant???

Also I’m taking the ACT as well… So I will have the ACT and the SAT …

So any thoughts would be great thanks…

if you do take them and score very poorly you can always just not send them… make sure u take them during may right in the ap testing time (i took physics and us and din take them till june and i had to re-study when i was all studied up for the ap exams in may)… i asked the admissions at nd and they said they would look at them but they r not at all necessary

Actually, if you take them, and you take the SAT, you have to send them if you send the SAT.

right… thats wut Im worried about

that’s what i’m debating… i got a 31 on my act, my II’s r all lower 700s and my SAT is like somethin ****ty like 1850 or somethin and idk if should send my II’s… i called admissions and they said they would look only at the act and disregard the SAT-- idk how true that is… sooo the questions is…

will my II’s help me more than my I’s could possibly hurt me (even though admissions claims they won’t hurt me “at all”) … ???

can u send only ACt and sat IIs even if u took the sat I

nope… if send the SAT II’s the I’s will be on there automatically
