<p>My D is a junior and we are debating whether she should take the SAT IIs. She is not applying to any schools that require them. She may want to apply to University of Delaware that “recommends” SATIIs. For schools that recommend an applicant have SAT IIs how important is it to have them?</p>

<p>She has taken the ACT and is planning to take it again. She has a 27 without studying. She will have a tutor and study before the next ACT so her score will most likely go up.</p>

<p>If the schools that you are applying to have “choice” for their SAT scores, then take them. If it is one of the few, but growing number, of schools that still require ALL SAT scores to be supplied, then don’t.</p>
