I’m currently enrolled to take the Spanish SAT II in June. I want to take either Math I or Lit on that day and the remaining test in October. I’ll be completing PreCalc and AP Eng Lang this year. Should I take Math or Lit in June? I’m leaning towards Math because I think it’ll be more fresh in my mind. Any suggestions? Thanks

It is your choice except you need to consider whether colleges you might apply to accept or require certain tests. For example, if you are intending to apply to the UCs then Math I is useless because they do not accept that test. Stanford, which does not require IIs but recommends them, also recommends that if you submit a math it be the Math II not the Math I. Another example, a number of the colleges that require IIs require a math and science if you are applying for engineering or science major. In other words, in choosing tests you should look into what might be required by the colleges you are considering.

Thanks I didn’t know that some colleges don’t accept the Math I test…I’ll look into it.
