SAT II's vs. SAT I

Will good SAT II scores compensate for fairly average SAT I scores (for the schools i am applying to my SAT I is probably below average)?

SAT I
2090 (650 CR 740 M 700 W)

SAT II
800 Math IIC
770 Chem
750 USH

I plan on applying to UMich, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Northwestern

I love how on these boards, a 2090 is a “fairly average” SAT score. Sat 1 scores are usually more important than Sat IIs. It never hurts to score high on those though.

Hmmm, true funny that a 2090 is apparently “average”, and I’d defintely have to agree that SAT I scores are more important than SAT II scores though I had been exactly in the same boat, and I think that my SAT II scores slightly compensated for my SAT I scores [especially since there was a 310 point difference], though I managed well including some from your list so good luck.
