<p>Will a really bad SAT II sink your chances? Like, really really bad. Sub 500 bad?</p>

<p>I got a 490 on my German SAT II, to go along with 740 Am. History and 800 Math and 790/770/670 SAT I.</p>

<p>Should I even bother looking for the mail, or did that test kill me?</p>

<p>Your other scores are excellent. SAT IIs aren’t even required, so I’d say that the German score won’t hurt you. The only thing it might show is grade inflation if you have very high grades in your German classes, but I wouldn’t worry. If you have straight A’s and a low SAT II score, for all they know you got sick during the test.</p>

<p>it’s really alright… even if they look at ur SAT scores… they’d look at ur best 2… it really doesn’t hurt</p>

<p>The language SATII s are kind of messed up anyway. I definitely 5’ed my Spanish AP but scored in the 63rd? percentile on the SATII Span. Might I ask why the low score?</p>

<p>You can’t send only some SATs- but adcoms recognize that one really bad score could likely mean a test bombed due to illness/bad day etc.</p>

<p>I think they looik at your sats as a whole, so one little thing won’t make too big a difference (especially if it isn’t required)</p>
