SAT Improvement

SAT I: 2210
Math: 780
Reading: 720
Writing: 710 MC-73 Essay-8

What would anyone recommend to increase my writing and reading scores - especially my essay and passage comprehension? Thanks. I want to increase my score to at least a 2300. My writing score is where I am most disappointed, as my essay really brings my score down - odd because I received a 5 on the English Language AP Exam. Any suggestions would be helpful.

SAT II:
Math II: 800
US History: 770

Should I take another SAT subject test, or is two satisfactory?

^^ Most competitive colleges ask for three subject tests.

I think a 2210 is an excellent grade, but, if you think you can score higher on the essay, your writing score will increase drastically. Here’s a link to a VERY useful thread on the essay: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/645763-how-write-12-essay-just-10-days.html

see below ehehe

I believe only Georgetown and one other college which escapes my mind REQUIRE 3 subject tests. If you take more; in most cases, your two highest scores or all of your scores will be considered.

To improve your SAT 1 scores, I suggest practice and review answers + explanations for a section each day from the Collegeboard Blue Book.

It was Harvard, but they recently dropped that requirement.

^Oh i knew about Harvard, but I thought there was another? Guess not, sorry, my mistake. Georgetown is the only one then most likely. Regardless, taking another sat subject test won’t hurt, given you score similarly to your current ones.

Oh, well, in that case, nevermind then :D
