I made a 1470 overall when I took the test in March and I would love to get my SAT score up to the 1800s range. I studied a lot during the summer. I usually made 1800s and above on collegeboard’s other practice tests but today I took the free one they have on the site.

What can I do to give myself the final boost to the 1800s!?

With six days to go, the best you can do for practice is to do a section or two every night as part of your nightly homework to keep your mind familiar with the material. Also, be sure to give yourself as much sleep as you need every night this week.

Study writing, it is honestly the easiest section to improve on. I wouldn’t be surprised that after a few days of good studying you can increase your writing score into the low-mid 700’s consistently.

CR I really don’t know, I’m not the best at it (low-mid 700’s) but make sure to answer what the question is asking on the passage based questions. Don’t use any prior knowledge when coming up with your answers, just try to find them in the text. For the sentence completions, I guess you just have to know your vocab and read the sentences correctly: Look for words that indicate a shift (however, instead, etc.) to help you narrow down your possibilities.

For Math, it was my weak subject consistently, never scoring over a 650. But over the past few weeks I have been focusing more on the math section by taking more math practice sections and studying off those questions. My score has jumped around 70-80 points to a low 700 with just that… I just hope I can do the same on the real thing.

But your scores aren’t extremely high to start off with, so any practice will benefit you much more than it did me. Just look over the practice test you just took and find out why you got some of the questions wrong. From there you can hone in on your weaknesses and study much more efficiently.

ive been studying 4 weeks now, with the official study guide and sh1tloads of other SAT prep books. I’ve never taken the SAT so do you think i will do well?

One night stands aren’t my type of relationships that why I like to take it slow and ask questions. I like to really get to know the passage before I make the commitment.

I hope I did the best I could, I got about 5 plug ins right according to the members on this forum. I missed about 4 or 5 multiple choice and I skipped about 6 questions for the multiple choice.
