thank god the art critic one was experimental (if thats true) that was by far the most difficult section

Its definately an entertaining fact, in no way in the passage did it mention speed limits at all.

@allan74

I think art critic one was experimental. I think I lucked out in that my hardest section was experimental too, iit was one of the math ones

@juanita
i had a tough math experimental as well. did you have the one where the last question was something like “r^2st = 200, rst = 40, what cannot be a value of rs?”
i know that was in an experimental section but i’m just wondering if there was more than one experimental math

there were multiple versions of the experimental math

Discovery that can discredit the opinion? Trading (I don’t think it is neighbor)

Scientific proof? Finding evidence that they cultivated distant farms (many say that the answer choice that had the word “neighbor” was in Q11, but I think it was this one that had one of the answer choices having the phrase “trading with neighboring villages.” I think this is not the answer because neighboring villages are likely to be “near.” We need to find prove that they could have “distant” farms)

does anyone remember the exact questions to these answers??

can vocab be part of the experimental section?

because there was some weird vocab on my section… there was this word ribald and cursory were in the asnwers

For the passage about photography, what was the question that the author of passage 2 would add to the questions posted by the author of passage 1? one of the answer choices was like “possible objections of an experienced observer”

and for one of the vocab questions about voluptuous, i think the answer should be “luxuriant” because it was describing the diction and you can’t say someone’s diction is “voluptuous”

@happy2012
luxuriant wasn’t even one of the answer choices, it was just an adjective in the SC
and the dictionary definition of voluptuous is characterized by luxury and/or sensual pleasure so the answer is voluptuous

Guys, i still think heartless detachment is the answer…detachment means separation, aloofness, or objectivity. Heartless means without feeling marring it. so I think that is the better answer choice because rationally isn’t THE BEST answer. Heartless Detachment i think is the answer that shows a sense of objectivity rather than rationally, which only talks about Logic. If you sub the meaning of these two words in:
“when looked at with unfeeling objectivity” or “when looked at logically” you can see that the latter doesn’t fit because there is no logic in her statement. Simply, a completely objective person is what in cold blood meant/

And number 12 for the distant farms is not that answer. That was not an answer choice. I think the question was “What was scientific evidence that they cultivated distant farms?” and I am pretty sure it was “Remnants of farming equipment found miles away from the civilization”.

…and also, it was “she was captivated by her style” correct?

@Divy1234 I think yes to the farmer question. And yes to the captivated question.

I’ve got at least 13 wrong as far as i know…■■■…gonna write it again in May…is it just me or does anyone else think that the CR was fair/ok but the discussion just makes it seem so ****ed up hard…omg i hate myself…sigh…

i disagree with this. heartless detachment implies you utterly do not CARE. “care” meaning “worry.” when looking at his situation about the reality of his situation, knowing that he should get a real job (or whatever it said) does not mean that you’re not caring. never implied such a thing. you’re merely looking at the situation sanely/without bias, in which case rationally fits best.

heartless detachment is just unbelievably strong to be the correct answer.

i think the words “in cold blood” threw a lot of people off.

but of course, feel free to disagree with me! this is, after all, just my opinion. i’m actually really interested in hearing peoples’ thought processes when it comes to such difficult/almost ambiguous questions.

I see what you are saying. I think this was the weirdest question on the whole thing. Because In Cold Blood means Heartless Detachment it is not like other questions that ask what a word means indicating that the word referenced has multiple meanings. I just personally think she was saying with a sense of objectivity. Of course her in her situation biased by her own positive outlook is going to be unaffected. However, someone who looks at her situation unbiased and completely, heartlessly, disconnected from her positive feelings would find the situation depressing.

Divy have you had a chance to look at my PM?

It should have replied. Of which is definitely correct! The other option made a comma splice. That’s why I didn’t choose it.
