I think 4 is agreed upon but 5 is still up in the air.

^^^Yeah but we’re pretty sure that the speed of sound one is no error, not definitive but pretty sure.

I still think it’s 5, including the speed of sound (along with the island, volcano, walnut tree, and quincanera)

I just can’t see the speed of sound being a ‘no error’. Doesn’t really matter though, since its already been done.

I thought CR was easy (2/5), Math was easy except 2-3 questions (2/5-3/5), and Writing was hard(4/5). While a lot of the writing questions were easy, there were a couple of really hard ones like the last question on section 10.

I’m almost certain that the “speed of sound” question was NE. While it could have been improved, it is important to remember that it is in the Identifying Sentence Errors section. There was nothing “grammatically incorrect” in that sentence… sure it could be improved and perhaps worded more concisely, but that is not what we are asked to look for in that sentence. The sentence can be worded in the way it was presented in that question and still be grammatically correct. That is why it should be NE.

SAT100, which question was last one on section 10?? I keep hearing about it, but I don’t know which one it is exactly.

It had to do with a nobel prize winner I think, I said A

I think A was “winner a nobel prize for her work”

Oh ok, that one was tricky. I was baffling between two choices, but left it as A. … A just sounded better to my ear.

What did you guys get for the deep sea question?

@chachaseeds, NE

I think a lot of guys are over analyzing some of these questions. For me personally, sometimes I tend to really dissect seemingly correct sentences and mark some phantom error. I end up wrong the majority of the times that I do this, it is usually NE.

wait was the deep sea in section 10 , #13?
how about the “Significant amounts,?” (last one on the first page of finding errors) << isn’t that wrong ?
and formed by or formed with volcanic actions? < i said formed by is idimatically wrong.
and nobel prize. I think i put E. Anyone else?

@ Mini1kim… I think all of those are wrong. It looks to me like you looked too much into those questions. I think significant amounts was NE, Volcanic Action was NE, Nobel prize was A

The noble prize one was something, winning her a prize. Or something along those lines. There was one that went: theirs was something friendship
found nowhere else in the world (madagascar)
there was one with like a commitment to and barely in (not barely but some verb)

For the madagascar I was debating over: 1. of which there are none anywhere and 2. many are nowhere… I think the latter has been agreed upon as correct… I don’t remember which answer I put… I know I changed it a few times

ughh i put NO error for volcanic actions and significant amounts one and realized that i had too many no eerrors. :/

mini1, I was also surprised by how many NEs I had

What else did the significant amounts one talk about…?

gthopeful93

I think that the latter was correct. The rest seemed too dodgy

ugh… I totally forgot what I put for all of these writing question. I just remember I put something like “extremes of darkness, pressure, and cold” Instead of “extremes of darkness, pressure, and being too cold”
