Any ideas on how the math curve is looking? there were definitely a few tricky questions.

Its difficult to give an exact curve for the test until people get their results back… according to sparknotes.com, the usual curve for math ii is rawscore>43 = 800. for math i, the curve is much harsher, with a perfect paper usually required for a 800.

Do you mean the math subject tests, or the math section of the SAT I?

If you’re talking about the normal SAT math from the reasoning test, then yes it was trickier this year. The consensus on CC seems to be it was a harder than usual test (coming from 750+ scorers). I think it was the most logic and conceptual SAT math test I’ve ever taken, which plays well for me although is much harder for others. I think the curve will be slightly more generous with

-1 790 (maybe even 800 if we’re lucky)
-2 770
-3 750
ect. with 20 points per missed question taken off.

I’m thinking a -1 790 curve is most likely

Also, found this wonderful spreadsheet with a bunch of released curves: http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

Note that the may curve was tougher then any of them listed on here
