<p>I was wondering if anyone had any tips for this paper since I’m quite nervous about taking it. I’m also taking Maths level 2 and am much more confident about that since I know in that exam if my answers are right or not, but since the Literature paper can be subjective on some questions I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips? </p>
<p>@Sapphiresmith123 you are definitely right about the subjectivity of some of the questions on the Literature Test, which is why one of the most important things to remember (also applies to the CR section of the SAT I) is that the College Board is always going to defend the correct answer with text. In other words, the correct answer will always have concrete evidence and (usually) a clear and concise explanation that comes right from the passage you are being tested on. </p>
<p>If money is not an issue, I advise buying the Kaplan book for the Literature test (<a href=“http://www.amazon.com/Kaplan-Subject-Test-Literature-2013-2014/dp/160978586X/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1409070386&sr=8-4&keywords=Sat+Subject+test+literature”>http://www.amazon.com/Kaplan-Subject-Test-Literature-2013-2014/dp/160978586X/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1409070386&sr=8-4&keywords=Sat+Subject+test+literature</a>) which has 8 practice tests that I found to be almost exactly the level of difficulty featured on the actual test, if not a little more difficult. I also found the Princeton Review book very useful, but it only offers 4 practice tests (<a href=“http://www.amazon.com/Cracking-Literature-Subject-2013-2014-Preparation/dp/0307945537/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1409070386&sr=8-3&keywords=Sat+Subject+test+literature”>http://www.amazon.com/Cracking-Literature-Subject-2013-2014-Preparation/dp/0307945537/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1409070386&sr=8-3&keywords=Sat+Subject+test+literature</a>).</p>
<p>I used these two books and was very happy with my results. I advise setting aside 4-5 weeks to go through the review sections in each book and to take the practice tests. Best of luck!</p>
