Does my SAT match my GPA? I got a 2130 on the SAT and my GPA is a 90%. I go to a pretty hard private school where the average GPA is an 86% and the high is a 95%.

You shouldn’t really worry about whether your SAT matches your GPA. Just try to score as high as possible. Also more context about your school would help (e.g. if you went to Thomas Jefferson in VA, then you’d probably be expected to have 2200+ SAT regardless of your GPA lol).

For the record, I know of a few seniors (class of 2012) who had near perfect SAT scores but had numerous B’s and some C’s. they were still accepted to prestigious top-20 schools.

There really is no way to ‘match’ the two, and no point in doing so. Just raise your SAT as much as possible and don’t worry about how much it correlates to your GPA. There are some people not even in the top 10% of their class that get 2300+ and valedictorians that struggle for a 2100. It can be pretty random and may depend on things like rigor of school, test-taking abilities, etc. Just shoot for the highest possible score and instead maybe research how much your SAT matches the colleges you’re applying to
