SAT Math and SAT2 (Math 1 and Math 2) parallelism

<p>I am looking at the SAT 2 math questions and some of the questions have lot of similarity to SAT Reasoning Math qns. Can anyone corroborate this?</p>

<p>Yes, some of the questions are similar. Also, some aren’t.</p>

<p>They’re general math tests, of course there’s going to be some overlap. The SAT II is quite a bit more complicated though.</p>

<p>If I scored low in SAT Math (thanks to my carelessness) but scored 800 in SAT II Math 2, will the admission office ignore my SAT Math score and instead consider only my SAT II Math score?</p>

<h1>kenhungkk: I guess they won’t ignore your score completely, but they will understand why (carelessness for example :smiley: they were once high school students too) and won’t underestimate your ability in mathematics, especially when you are an IMO medalist.</h1>
