SAT Math help

What does b less than or equal to f(a) mean? I’m looking at #18 on page 400 in the blue book.

That means “b” the y-value is less than or equal to the y-value of the x-value “a” when plugged into the function f(a)…lol that sounds confusing doesn’t it?

kind of confused, but thanks for the reply.

I hate confusing questions that are too lame and easy ,but sometimes you cant understand what is asked in the problem.

I agree :). Can anyone else give me some insight?

lets say the equation was
f(x)=2x+5
lets say x is 5, f(5) would be 15.

b less than or equal to f(x) means that B has to be less than or equal to 15.
so technically, it has to be under the graph.

thanks guys
