Don’t make the last three or four mistakes .
I will recommend pwnthesat math. You are almost on the 800. Be nimble, also look on what questions you get the most wrongs answers which probably would be 3 or 4.
What I did was I found EVERYTHING available for SATI math and SATII math level 2.
I skipped questions that were easy for me and did all the challenging ones. Then I got 800s on SATI math and SATII level 2, and a 36 on ACT math for bonus. :))
^Speaking of SAT subject tests, I’m planning on taking the SAT Math Lii. I have the book but haven’t opened it yet as I’m currently studying for the SAT math and I know sat ii math covers a lot more material.
How long did you need to study for Sat ii math?
Keep organized with your work, and read carefully - you’ll avoid many stupid mistakes that way.
Yes, I have a suggestion. Stop using third party tests. Only use official college board tests.
That’s a great score but probably not what you want… I was wondering if you can give me tips to go from 550 to 650 #-o
@ChavBruvSat For me, i improved from a 580M to (usually around) a 710-720 by using Dr. Chungs 58 Tips. the book is golden. I will admit that the book is incredibly difficult because its designed for students to get a perfect score, but if you study hard a score 650+ would be very easy.
Also an added update on my studies - I started a policy where every time i take a test, whether it be Dr. Chungs or Collegeboard - i always note the type of question that i get wrong (like if its triangles, angles, permutations, etc).
Also i bought a small notebook so i can write every question that i get wrong on a page and how to solve it on the back page.
Hoping this strategy pulls me to 790/800
@DHMIS1 Hey, sorry to bump your thread, I’m stuck in the 740s and I’m trying to get it up. Have you had any luck?
@ChavBruvSat I also started in the high 500s with math, although I found Chung’s to be confusing at first…I guess it depends on the person, but I’d start with PWN the SAT first, which helped me nail the basics (now I’m at a 760 according to my most recent cb test). After doing that book, I decided to go back to Chung’s to get those last points, which is less daunting now imo than before doing PWN.
