SAT May 2009 CR

@rella1234: that is the question i’m asking about. your option is choice a. the three above are choice b,c,e. don’t remember choice d

i remember the bookish question vaguely. it asked what was the difference between the chemist and his friend Sandro. I didn’t pick “bookish” i don’t hink though

hey and there is one question that what did Sandro feel about the author when he went on his monologue about chemistry? was it that Sandro was awed by his profound knowledge?

No, Sandro wasn’t awed.

One of the other’s answers, less extreme. Something more along the lines of respect, if someone gives me the wording I"ll know the answer.

another choice to that one was he felt it challenged his own beliefs.
another one was he agreed or something.

The choice was that “sandro respected his views”

Which was what I put.

Yea it wasn’t about being challenged. Sandro and him shared ideas, some of which were in disagreement (ie Bookish vs Nature) but most of which just expanded upon each other.

bookish was the answer for sure.

what was the answer to the question that asked which of the following best replaces
“care for”?. I think it was either appreciate or feel concern for

Appreciate

+1 to our big list.

legal was like the first SC answer haha. Does anyone remember any other SC

for sandros rxn i put he felt the narrator was lacking in knowledge of certain aspects about chemistry-- that makes sense, considering for the rest of the passage sandro teaches the narrator about a new aspect of chemistry

Wasn’t about chemistry, but was lacking knowledge.

yeah…does that make a difference?

i think i said that he thought the chemist was lacking knowledge as well.

Hey does anyone remember the rhetoric question from the chemistry passage? Because Sandros would often interject, I chose something along the lines of causing scholarly debate or something? Does anyone remember?

i dont remember what i put for the rhetoric, do you remember other ans choices?

No, but does anyone else remember anything about this question?

i don’t remember the above question, but the first question is about the general meaning of the passage. was it " the difference between the author and his friend and their relationship" or something/
