^oh yeah, venice is experimental i think. damn. i was pretty confident about that one…

and i put uncertainty? dismay is a bit extreme…i mean, that kind of culture certainly isnt suprising/ unexpected

and i put uncertainty? dismay is a bit extreme…i mean, that kind of culture certainly isnt suprising/ unexpected

@JNE23 I had Writing experimental, and didn’t have the Venice one. So that one has to be the experimental

I said reactions to plagarism, first one didn’t mention specific cases of plagarism.

I had dismay for one of them, anyone?

no i dont think it was plagarism among scholars; i put reactions, cuz one talked about how the reactions were not enough, but the other said reactions are like becoming tougher

i said dismay (pretty sure of that one)…purposefully provocative (i thought she was being sarcastic here…why would she view her own profession with disdain?)…and that other one was definitely a metaphor…

I was between uncertainty and dismay, and ended up putting dismay (I think).

Does anyone know for sure about that one?

I bombed so much on the critical reading sections…man i suck donkey balls.

My test person kept cutting me short half a minute or one minute for each section, and there was a loud clock thingy that kept on clicking every second.

I must have not been able to answer at least 10 questions on the passages because of time, and did not even get a start on that chemistry one. I did okay on math though.

hmmn. whats the reasoning behind dismay?

Put dismay…

What about platinuous? Superfluous?

platitudinous was right, as was superfluous.

yay so -3 cr for me so far. not bad.

i failed the Sc tho…
what was the answer to the apolm one or something. i put gratification but i am sure i am wrong.

was one of the answers like “some big word that starts with e” the idea of a roller coaster or something for the roller coaster passage. it was like number 18.

I put superfluous, but I don’t think I picked platitudinous…

ugh I missed compunction.

What was the celebrity one where it asked what did passage 2 have that passage 1 did NOT have?

the celebrity one was def not experimental. but it was hard.
ppl wat’s the answer for

I picked Platitudinous thankfully, but only because justifiable is a silly word… Just because the code of ethics sucks doesn’t mean any behavior is “justifiable”.

Anyone else put literary technique as “metaphor”? I couldn’t really spot a metaphor, besides the author being a metaphorical loner… I doubt it was literary allusion unless she is alluding to a piece I have not read, and thus it would be unreasonable to assert.

clarify a principle…

he was like popularity doesn’t mean the research is rigorous. popularity means its bad…so he’s clarifying

ashley i agree with you on all of em except for “eager” i put “dismay”

i said it was criticizing a trend (somewhat sure), unfortunate acquiescense (pretty darn sure), and the one about how it could advance his career…the first passage there generally said the downsides, and didnt consider the advancement possibilities.

unfortunate acquiesce.

using publicity for your career
