@caulfield my interpretation of the question was that it was saying that the reports were rarely expansive, and on the contrary of being expansive, they were thus laconic…does that make sense? idk, i could be wrong, but that’s just how i read it.

Also, did someone have a math question about Mary and Titus (or some name like that, lol) and their modes of transportation? It had a graph, and it seemed waaay too easy to be the 10th question out of 16. Don’t the questions go from easy to hard in the math section?

@ShadowMist, yes, and the answer for that was 30.

Never knew so many people would be doing this as well
the math section was pretty simple but i was dumb and spent my time on a question or two and didn’t put all my effort into others so i got a few questions

I.for the question of the hex(i think)gon and the rectangle inside it i just made a wild guess with 4sqrt3 is that what you all got

for the question on the 17 year olds, are you sure that you could have 3 17 year olds out of the 15 and have that as a median… it just seems like a trick question to me

for the mx +py=10 and (m+1)x + py = 14 did you guys get x=4

was the question with the percentile increase ( i got 800) the last one in that section

5) what did you guys get for the one where you had to plug in numbers and get soemthing like -3<f(x)<2 it was the second to last question in one of the multiple choice sections

6) the rest i think i got but idk… i hate that i always forget that im timed

using d=rt i got 36… but the closest options were 30 and 45 so i pick the closest in 30

And i agree with most of you on the CR section the passages were extremely easy. the vocab… not so much

Darn, I chose 45. I knew it seemed too easy.

And the percentage increase for the circle was 800%. You just had to choose random numbers, and then multiply them by 3, and find out what the percentage change was. :D

And the mx+py was 4, I believe.

so what was the CR question about variety vs. stability or harmony vs. conflict for the space passage?

Yes, the percent increase was 800% and the mx+py was 4.

alrighty good to know. if we got a grid question wrong, does it affect our score because i remember reading that they don’t hurt your score and i missed the stupidest thing in the world

it was 80% for the circle graph and i put down 80 for the grid sheet instead of the fraction.

second i read that here i felt like a grade A dumbass cause that section was sooooo easy

On the last math section with the 16 questions, wasnt 11-e 12-e 13-e 14-c 15-d?

@Colts: you’re not penalized for getting a grid question wrong (so you don’t get any points taken off).

@Sassypaws: I personally remember putting variety vs. stability but who knows if I’m right…look through the critical reading thread to see what others wrote, that could help.

@kid123 any chance you could say the quetion maybe someone else remembers them but i don’t want to give you the wrong info even if i guess

What were the answer choices to the mx+py question? Was one of the answer choices x=2?

oh and is there any chance that someone might now how many q’s were on the section of the SAT math that had the one that was the percent increase of the circle in it

because for whatever reason i did look back (yup…) and looked like i did two extra bubbles for whatever reason and filled them as A and D right before the short writing section because i knew the percent increase of the circle question was answer choice E… anyone know if there last two choices for a section were A and D … cause i erased those too and i hope to god that didn’t mess me up

I feel like the second 20 minute math section was the experimental and that it was the one with 800 percent because the questions were a lot harder

@colts, 16 Q’s

i don’t think there was an experimental section sassy paws… but im not to into the rules because isn’t the math section supposed to have two multiple choice and a grid in? thats what i had and the 800% question was in my test and i don’t think i had an extra math section

does anyone know what the answer choices were to the question with mx+py=10 and (m+1)x+py=14???

I know x=4 was one of the answer choices, but what about x=2?

newyorkgirl lets work it ou

Lets make x=2 in the equation and m=2…

mx+py=10
4+py=10
so py =6

and then we plug that in the second equation
(2+1)(2) +6=14
12 does not equal 14

do the same thing for x=4 and you get 14=14 but maybe i did something wrong…
cause i did not remember all the answer choices
