yes, that’s the right answer. I discussed with all my friends and people here that is definately the right answer

What about the artists one? Is it really 7?

yes the artists is 7 because there were 17 altogether, then if 5 gave 2 paintings, you have 10 + 7 (all the one people) = 17

Added. I remembered the 1.04 question too right before I went to bed last night, and one more…

There was an absolute value one that asked which of the following CANNOT be x, and the answer was 14.

The median im pretty sure is 14, you need to list them all out and cancel until you get to the center. The t=-9 was for a graph one, i think it was for a second question.

The girls one has to be 8/27 because you’re picking out of all the students…there’s no limiting factor like the car one.

I do remember the t=2 question, but not entirely. There’s another question…it was the first on the test; it used something like 4y=20 as a substitution and an equation 3x+5z=4y and when z=4…I think the answer was x=0 for some reason but it’s probably not even a question.

What was the question again?
There are 12 artists that send either one or two paintings. If 17 paintings are sent in, how many artists sent two?

yeah that was the question

i got 3 wrong on multiple i guess and 2 on the grid ins

that’s still pretty good

But if it asked how many gave 2 wouldn’t it be 5

oh, sorry, it asked for how many gave one NOT TWO

…**** x10

i am sure you did fine, assassin and you’re a sophomore, why do you care. You have whole year to study even if you do bad

Well you probably konw the story so I’ll sum it up in 2 words:

Asian, Indian

I know it isn’t too bad, but the painting one was careless. The median, i listed all the numbers like 11,12,13,14,… and got the median out of that

I think i was thinking too hard on it.

What was your score?

I think it was for how many arists sent in only one painting…odd.

Again, I’m beginning to have second doubts…humerous/earnest and conversational/scholarly…

I think the first passage was definetely more conversational than humerous. Although it could be humerous, he isn’t trying to make a joke in discussing about a hike was about to undertake…he just kinda spilled about how he felt, told the reader his reasons for wanting to go out there, and then discussed the how stories stopped him from going although he wished he still could. It seemed to me more like a narrative…but on the other hand, he did speak with a touch humor so that might just be it-

The second passage is more earnest than scholarly, but that still doesn’t nail what the second passage stated. He spent most of his time critiziing the irrational fear of some people on hiking and how accidents can be easily avoided, not discussing how he’d like to take his next hike out there. Scholarly is a bit too much because his opinions were listed too informally…but then again it was from a 1968 BOOK, and he certainly tried to prove his ideas using logic, asserting that hikiing isn’t dangerous.

So it’s impossible to tell, for me at least. While humerous/earnest is being agreed upon, I don’t think anyone can say for sure…I’ve seen just as many converational/scholarly.

my score was a 74, like i blabbed all of yeaterday:) I know exactly what I got wrong
CR: 73
M: 74
W: 78 -> worst case scenario
225

if it’s conversational/scholarly then I have a 76 on CR

I probably suffer from test dyslexia. How could I have read it wrong? If it’s what you ppl say it was I had the answer. I had 5 sent in 2 so I would’ve had 7 but i …grrrrrrrrrr

just don’t tell your parents that you recieved your score, they don’t mail it they give it out in school

lol, like they’ll fall for that. But hey if they do, I’ll have to guard it from my friends. I don’t think i did too good in the CR b/c i got more than 3 No errors. Like 4 maybe.

They said that each question you get wrong on the multiple choice is 1/4 point deduction. So 4 wrong is one point? I’m confused
