SAT or ACT

If I got a 1350 on SAT and 25 on ACT on my first practice tests, should I just take the SAT or spend time on ACT as well?

Also note that math is by FAR my best subject

ACT is a good bit better.

Wait, was your practice test out of 1600 or 2400?

@Hermit9 it was out of 1600
Math:750
English:600

Also, after the January administration (i.e., starting with the March testing date), the SAT will be in an entirely new format (closer to the ACT), so it may be a moot point.

(Sorry, I just saw your last comment, so you probably were taking the new version of the SAT if your score was out of 1600).

A 25 is roughly equal to 1130-1160 for CR+M of the old SATs. Was your 1350 from CR+M of the old SATs? If so, it is obviously a lot higher than the 25 ACT. But if new…all bets off. But seems like 1350 out of 1600 has to be a lot better than 25.

Nevermind, your SAT is way better.

If you SAT is 1350/1600, your SAT is way better. Spend more time studying for the SAT, as it seems that the SAT is a stronger test for you.

I personally prefer the SAT. You would probably be better off choosing the SAT because it places 1/2 weight on Math rather than 1/4 weight.
