Prompt: Can any obstacle or disadvantage be turned into something good?

“Necessity is the mother of invention”.Obstacles and disadvantages do not exist unless we believe in their being. Every matter, whether tangible or cerebral, can be a benefit or a liability; the decision is ours to make.
A marvelous, nearly implausible, example is Alexander Fleming’s discovery. Fleming was a biologist who dedicated his life to many studies including bacteriology. Trying to find a cure known today as ‘penicillin’, Fleming experimented every biological method. Having left an experiment in process, Fleming traveled for two days, but when he returned,he found the specimen he left earlier muted to the cure he sought before.
The previous example was made by the hand of fortune, but the next example is made by Santiago’s will. In the great novel “The Alchemist” composed by ‘Paulo Coelho’, Santiago was a young shepherd lad who dreamed of a treasure in the Pyramids of Giza, despite the distance between Spain and Egypt. He needed an alchemist’s help who he later found on his journey’s path. The purpose to Santiago’s voyage was to learn how to benefit from ill-fortune and mute it to a blessed one, helping him in his future life. The rituals and the tests, that was made by the alchemist, that Santiago surpassed allowed him to know the secret of the alchemist, the transformation of metal mostly between copper, a common, conducting metal, and pure gold, a precious, rare metal.
In conclusion, there are two different kinds of people in this world, optimist people, those who accommodate disadvantages and fight and conquer obstacles, and pessimist ones, those who cede to the plaintive tides of liabilities.
