Hi guys. I’m currently preparing for my SAT. My scores range from 1800-2000, but I’m aiming to raise the highest range by another 200. I have done the Prince Review course, and it was of great help. However, what I’m aiming to get out of this thread is a method to significantly boost my scores within a few months. I will be taking my first non-practice SAT test this november. If possible, I’d like to know if there are any useful books aside of those from TPR, Kaplan, and Collegeconfidential that I should be aware of. And another problem I’ve come to realize is that, most of the time, I power down halfway through the test. I’m worn out, exhausted, and just switch to autopilot - which usually yields a significant fall in scores. Hope you guys can help

This is totally based off of personal experience, but the “worn out/exhaustion” issue DEFINITELY can, alone, rob of you of points you might have earned. Work on it–throughout the test, focus like you’ve never done before. Give yourself cheesy pep talks, anything that might work. For me, the difference between concentrating and actually caring about the SAT versus not was almost 300 points.
