<p>I took the SAT a couple of years ago (7th grade) and got recognized by the Duke tip program for my scores of: math- 560 English- 600 writing- 630. In 8th grade I got a PSAT score of 201 (the cutoff for national merit, ironically) with: math- 64 English- 69 writing- 68. Could I get a prediction on my actual score in my junior year?</p>
<p>No one could really predict it. People go down from soph to junior year. But since your most recent was 8th grade, I would expect a decent increase. Just practice a bit if you want national merit.</p>
