I’m in gr 12 (senior) at high school this year, and I’m about to take the SAT (I) in October (2 weeks). This may seem like a futile question, seeing as how close the SAT test date is, but how accurate are the practice tests put out by non-Collegeboard-affiliated publishers? Does consistently scoring 760-800 (Math+CR, writing is subjective cause I can’t just pull an essay mark out of my ass) on those tests translate into the same score on the SAT? How do the prep books determine a curve for their tests?

I ask this question because I come from Canada, from a place where there are no prep classes, tutors, etc, and I’ve been preparing by myself.

Thanks
