Hello. I recently took the SAT for the first time and received a 1790 =[. Before this, my psat was a 1600. Before I took the SAT I went to a prep school called MEK. I remember averaging 1500s on the simulations. As I approach Senior year, I am wondering whether or not I should take the prep class again or if i should buy the SAT book that a lot of people talk about. I know that out of all subjects I definitely need help in Math where I received a 520 so a Tudor might help also. Any advice? PS. I aiming for 1900

bump…

I think you should buy the book, which I assume you mean is “The Official SAT Study Guide,” which many of us here refer to as the blue book. Get the second edition (although the first edition is basically just as helpful)–in it there are 10 practice tests; think of it as basically taking the SAT 10 times. You will get a lot of help that way and won’t have to take a class or pay a tutor.
