My SAT score is 2000, superscore 2040 (680m,680r,680w), and I would like to take some sort of prep class to raise it. My worry with these prep classes, though, is that they may cater more to students whos scores are in more of a middle range. I am wondering if anyone on here has experience with any prep classes and could let me know if they accomodate students with all ranges of scores? If you have any suggestions on any specific test prep classes or tutoring that you think will work for my score range please let me know…

No, don’t do it. Self studying is the way to go. Read this thread go to page 39 and read xiggi’s method a few posts down.

This will help you receive a very nice score.

Yes, since it seems like you know most of the necessary information, I really don’t advise you to take an SAT prep class. In fact, I read that the people who teach the classes probably get around 2100’s or so on their SAT’s themselves. I think if you examine your mistakes and correct them, you will improve quite a bit. In other words, what problems are lowering your score? Psychological reasons, stress, not knowing the vocabulary, not knowing the medium-hard math problems? Then take steps to correct them. Improvement is not making the same mistakes over and over again.
