SAT Prep Elective?

My school will be offering an SAT Prep class as an elective class beginning the next school year. I will be a junior and will take it, for one semester (it is a semester class), and will be a teacher assistant (no credit) for the other.

I could take physical education classes or a culture class for the other semester for credit, but I don’t want to, particularly because I am interested in pursuing an instructional career.

Will colleges look down upon this?

Experience as an assistant teacher should only help you- especially if teaching is a path you’d like to follow later in life.

I mean, how many instructional assistants can the class even have each year? It could only distinguish by helping you to follow your passion.
