SAT prepping questions

Hey guys, I just had some questions that have been running around in my mind and wish to tire.

Disclaimer: I am not trying to be a ■■■■■, nor did I forget that I had indeed posted threads previously where I had asked questions which may perhaps be perceived as similar to what I will ask here again.

Briefing:
What I generally score:
Writing: 750-800
Critical Reading: 600-700
Mathematics: 650-730

About Me
-I am a rising sophomore
-I finished Freshman Year with straight A+s, and my school is devoid of grade inflation (in my experience so far, that is)
-I have taken the most rigorous course load for sophomore year and took the most rigorous course load freshman year
-Ask Any other questions if they will help you decide how I should go about my preparation

Books that I have in my possession
-Gruber’s Math WB, BB, PR 11 tests, the red book (CB), Barron’s SAT 2400, Direct Hits (both editions)

Other tidbits of information
-I have read xiggi’s guide, silverturtle’s guide, sparknotes, and intend to make sure that I can consistently score 800 on the writing section
-I hardly miss any sentence completions (thank you Direct Hits), even though I have not really memorized all the words
-Please do not refer me to links and threads in an effort to help me, although I do appreciate the thought. I’d prefer if you could just make suggestions based on personal experience and/or other sources.

Questions of Concern
-If I use Gruber’s to study over the summer and practice with PR and the collegeboard materials, can I secure getting an 800 the majority of the time in math?
-For Critical Reading, if I just keep practicing will I be able to consistently score 750-800?
-Since I have until Junior/Senior year to take the SATs and I am a rising sophomore, will 2350+ be a logical and practical goal?

Thanks to all who read this and many thanks to all who help me. :)

-You can.
-I’m not sure. There’s a good possibility you will.
-Absolutely

Thanks for your response xrCalico23, it does mean a lot to have this confirmation so I know that what I am doing isn’t for naught.

why are you prepping in your sophomore summer??!!
yes you will get a 2350+ but you need to find a better way to spend your summer

^ I disagree. Early SAT studying helps a lot (IMO). And you didn’t really specify what is a better way other than studying for an important exam.

I can’t really help you much because I just started prepping for the SAT as well, but I have heard that Grubber’s Math WB does really help out a lot (from various people). I hope I can answer your question #2 to myself this summer  but I believe the answer is yes. And I believe you can certainly achieve 2350+ if you can score that high alraedy

I have personally been using the Grubers math book because my score (590) is a lot lower than I would like it to be. I think that this book is a bit of an overkill (in a bad way). The math review section is over 100 pages long and if you are scoring that high already, you would probably just benefit from doing practice problems from the BB or other materials. I am currently using the book because math is my worst section.

Thanks for your replies and opinions guys!

@james11223: I can see where you are coming from, but I might as well use my summer time productively. I already have Soccer practice every morning from 9-12 and I go workout for 1-2 hours in the evening/ play outside. I have fun on weekends. I study and do summer work the remaining time during weekdays (includes SAT prepping). So, I believe it is a good thing to start early.

All replies and opinions are greatly appreciated
