SAT Problem

No matter what I do, I can’t seem to pull my SAT 1 math score above 650.

My reading score is 800, my writing score is 770, I have a all 5’s on my AP’s, 780 SAT2 US History, 760 SAT2 Literature, and 7’s (equivilant to AP 5) in all of my IB subjects (I am taking the IB diploma–I have a predicted 42/42). I’m the top of my class and have fantastic ec’s and recs, and I think my essay is pretty good. The only thing is the damn SAT 1 math score. It it a deal breaker?? I want to apply to Brown ED this fall.

Thanks!

I had the same problem that you did, but I was able to raise my math score just by buying the Kaplan SAT math workbook, and going through all the problems there. Just keep working at it a little each day and don’t give up!
