<p>Yes, I don’t see why a “thicker” pencil would be a problem. I also don’t see why anyone would want to deal with thick points, esp. when penciling in on reading sections and doing scrap work on math.</p>

<p>As long as it’s a #2 pencil, you should be fine. Just make sure your essay is legible.</p>
