<p>If you answer the SAT QOTD for today (Tuesday, April 21, 2009), you will find a much more in-depth answer explanation. I don’t know if it’s just for the particular problem, or if this novel format of explanation is the new standard.</p>
<p>Instead of just listing a paragraph of information and some skimpy diagram, the CB actually went in-depth in the explanation. There were multiple bold-face subtitles, with information and diagrams in each.</p>
<p>For example, it breaks it down like this:</p>

Here’s why:
What is the question asking?
What do you know?
Build the figure, adding what you know and what you can figure out</p>
<p>As you can see, the explanation guides you step-by-step in solving the problem. I hope this new format of explanation is here to stay
Definitely beats the regular short, skimpy explanations that don’t help at all.</p>
