SAT Reasoning and Chem

I want to retake the SAT Reasoning, and also take the SAT Subject Chem. I am about equally unprepared for both, so I am wondering if it would matter if I took one before the other.

For the SAT Reasoning, my previous score breakdown was 800M 590W (8 essay) 590CR. I recently took a BB test (CR sections only) and got a 720  I also took the writing section MC only and got a 37 Raw Score, which equates to a 650 if I got another 8 on my essay… hopefully I can improve my MC and memorize some examples. Aiming for a 2200.

For the Chem Subject test, I went over the SparkNotes review and got a 690 on the first practice test. I have not taken any CB test yet (but I will). Aiming for a 760+.

So does it matter which one I should take first?

Take the one you can improve most quickly on first, then take the one that takes more time to improve next.

which would be…

which would be…the SAT reasoning because the MC is the easiest section to study for on the whole test. Review basic grammar rules and take multiple sets of practice questions to get a feel for how to spot errors. I used to be pretty bad at this when I took the SAT in 9th grade (like 33/49 MC) but after getting accustomed to grammar I now usually get 0-1 wrong on BB tests.
