I live in india and i am planning on doing my post-grad in the U.S.
I have already taken the SAT’s… i would like to retake it again if it is required for post grad to have a better score for the record…and what are the scores required for a college such as CalTech? Please reply…i would like to take then by the next date

Uh, I don’t know what you’re asking really. But if you want to get into CalTech, you should probably have a 2300+ (with 800 math).

i want to know if i need to take the SAT’s if i want to do post-grad in the U.S. ? Do post-grad colleges need SAT scores?!??

i know there are a ton of indians out there who want to do post-grad in the U.S. whoever is willing to help please!!!

SAT is a REQUIREMENT. you MUST take the entrance exam test. For top-tier colleges like Cal Tech, you would also need to take the SAT subject tests (2, I think).

A lot of people I know (in Canada) think they can use their IB exam scores instead of the SAT scores. If this is the case for you, then you’re WRONG.

Take the SATs as soon as possible. The college application deadline is imminent.

The guy is asking about “post-graduation”. I believe that means a graduate school. You dont need SAT to apply to a grad school. Usually, GRE is required.

[Let me google that for you](http://■■■■■■■.com/mptgql)

Does having given the SATs or the ACT give you any advantage when applying for postgrad? Do you know if colleges look at that at all for post grad? Thanks. I’m currently in my junior year of highschool in india.

It is most likely. There are a slew of admission testing you have to take such as TOEFL etc. SAT is more common overall than the ACT though. Keep that in mind.
