SAT Retake 2320

I saw a few threads. But my son’s case is unique. He will try top colleges in Econ/Math/Science and also Intel Science competition. He is a junior and taking linear algebra and multi-variable calculus this year. Next year he plans to take game theory. He has good EC’s in leadership categories.

SAT II: Math-800, Phy-800, Chem-800
AP Calculus BC-5
SAT I: CR-780, WR-800, Math-740

Given his strong math knowledge I am advising him not to retake SAT rather explain in college application why he believes he is good in math and why he did not feel it necessary to retake SAT just to improve score.

I would appreciate your suggestions.

Retaking the SAT is a waste of time for him. Colleges know that a Math 730 means he got 3 questions wrong- and that is insignificant since he got 800’s on his SAT subject tests. And he does not need to explain that he is good in math.
