I have 4.0 gpa and am a competitive fencer, have work/volunteer experience, and take classes outside of school. I will be a senior next year and might apply ed, so the October SAT date is the only one left. Which is better to retake, the SAT or the subject tests?

May SAT scores
math: 700
cr: 720
writing: 760

subject tests
math 2: 690
chemistry: 660
lit: 650

I’m looking at schools like Middlebury, Haverford, and Carleton.

Subject tests are pretty important if they are related to your intended major. I would also retake the subject tests. At about 2200+ on SATs there isn’t really a huge difference to admission offices. Try to hit the 700+ on subject tests.
