try 1) CR:730 M:750 W:690 Total: 2170
try 2) CR:760 M:800 W:710 (E:7) Total: 2270</p>
<p>PSAT: CR:74 M:80 W:80 Total: 234</p>
<p>Basically, I’m trying to forget about the first time. Don’t take to much cough syrup the mornign of the SAT!</p>
<p>A 2270 is fine, both CR and M are about where PSAT predicted they’d be. But both times on the SAT, I have bombed the essay. If i just could score highly on the essay, I know that i’d see a substantial increase in my score. How reasonable is it to expect to be able to improve an essay score from a 7 to a higher end score? What do they look for on SAT essays?</p>
