i am doing the sat in oct and will be home everyday until the exam. I dont have any school or anything else to distract me until then and would like some advice on how to maximize my score on each section.

My goal is 2000+
Any advice would be appreciated ^_^…

You can try practicing one section of SAT timed every day.

Thanks, already started doing that.

Um if you have time you can take a full practice test every week on Saturday up until the day you take the real SAT to familiarize yourself with the feeling of sitting down and taking a test for long hours straight.

Gather as many REAL practice tests (official sat practice tests, blue book tests, sat online course, etc) as you can, then create a schedule in which you take these tests at equal intervals until the exam date.

The amount of extra preparation you need depends on your diagnostic score. If you’re starting off below 1900 you need to work with some review courses or books, and if you’re above that point, just do the practice tests.

Specialise in each section. If you know that you’re weak in Math, practise the Math questions. Get an SAT prep book and read through the sections. if you don’t have money for that, borrow them from the library. If you can’t, learn how to dig stuff up from the internet…
Make vocab cards, use quizlet, and whatever to memorise vocab words. Those do help a lot. Practise reading boring stuff such as The Economist. (Just go on the site). Read about dull, intellectual topics. If you hate Biology, read Biology papers and pretend to like them.

Thanks :), currently in the process of finishing an SAT Course i am doing. Understand the math concepts really good and writing stuff, just have to get a custom to applying it and finding the tricky errors on the sat. Anyone tried direct hits vocab list, if so, how good is it?
