I tend to fall asleep on very long tests, and thus I don’t think I could get a 2400 in one 3.5 hour test. (I get sleepy after about an hour of test-taking lol) However, I think I could do it by taking the SAT 3 times, concentrating only on one section for each test, and sleeping/ resting during the other sections.

Regardless of its “legality,” colleges will quickly see through your strategy considering that you’ll have to send all three tests in order for score choice to work; most will not look upon it favorably.

If you’re falling asleep on long tests, then it stands to reason that you should get more sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and actually practice testing for long periods of time.

It’s not illegal but it’s very stupid.
Assuming you do just nap during the other sections:
800 M / 200 CR / 200 W
200 M / 800 CR / 200 W
200 M / 200 CR / 800 W

looks more like a 1200 than a 2400 to me.
And what if you don’t get a 800?

Huh? Score choice only allows you to pick and send entire tests (by test date), not sections. You can’t do this at all in terms of score choice.
