SAT score..good or bad?

<p>hmm…i got a 1770 total on the new SAT
math…580
cr…590
writing…600
is it good or bad or what? im retaking the test in october but i did study alot for this one. what kinda colleges will accept me with this and a Bish gpa if im taking all honors/aps?</p>

<p>There are plenty of colleges that will accept you. Now I have seen someone get into a HYPSMC with somewhat similar scores but that person had overcome IMMENSE challenges (they make me feel as if I’m living an easy life) and had an A average in high school, and was a naturally excellent writer.</p>

<p>However, I don’t imagine you are shooting for top-level universities. The first place to look is regional universities in your state school system; there is a good chance you would be well above average (SAT-wise) at such a university. After that, there are many private universities with similar averages. The following web site can be very useful:</p>
