SAT score investigation

How big of a jump in score warrants an investigation? I took the June 2 test and based on practice tests leading up to the test date and the compilation of answers in numerous threads, I think I improved my score by about 300 points. Does a 300 point jump in 2 months seem suspicious?

I’m worried because I hear they check for a lot of erasures if they suspect you cheated and although I didn’t cheat, on one of the sections, I accidentally bubbled in all the answers in the wrong place. After I realized my mistake, I spent the extra 5 minutes of a math section I had leftover to transfer all the answers to the right section, erase the entire wrong section and bubble in the correct answers to the corresponding section.

I’m not sure if I was clear enough but I basically made a huge blunder that forced me to erase an entire section. Should I be worried about this?

No.
It is a little suspicious that you fixed your gridding during a different section.
Luckily, a 300 point jump is not terribly unusual. If you got a perfect score though…

As Junior stated above, a score jump of 200-300 points is relatively common if you really hit the books after your first test. As for the erasures, those shouldn’t be investigated. It often takes a recurring pattern to warrant a search for cheating or plagiarism.

Don’t worry about it. It’s only an investigation if its really relaly big
